Category: senior, senior reps, seniorsAuthor: Eleanor
I'm so excited to introduce my senior rep for Nelson County High School's class of 2013 - Brad Thomas. Brad and I had such a great time during his shoot, even if it was literally raining nuts at one of our locations. Brad is on the football team and I can't wait to go to a game and get some shots of him in action. I'll be sharing more of his session over the coming weeks!

I love photographing special moments for my clients, but pulling at the camera for some 'me' time is always so special. It's very common to see box turtles crossing the roads where we live and my family feels compelled the 'rescue' them from being run over. On my way to pick my two oldest up from school last week I was saw a particularly determined turtle stuck in the middle of a road I knew would become very busy once school released. Naturally, I rescued him so we could release him at the creek near our home. This turtle had so much personality and was very outgoing. He reminded me so much of my son that I knew I wanted to capture the bond they shared for the few hours I let my son play with him before we released him. Enjoy!

etc. for a school themed shoot at an outdoor location in Bardstown.

This little man was just divine. Ten days new and just as sweet as can be! He comes from a very country family so we made sure to express their style in his shoot. We used his Grandpa's gorgeous saddle and his Daddy's hat. Newborn shoots are the only time I'm excited about the warmer weather -- we can shoot outside and still keep the little ones nice and warm! Eli has a new cousin joining us any day now and I can't wait to photograph her, as well!
